So each year, the LM comes up with some BS and changes something. Last year he added play off spots because he didn't think he would make it.

On Thursday night, two teams agree to make a trade at 7:23, he logs in at 7:33, and approves the trade, then places the traded player in the starting line up for the guy. Whom I was just so happened to be playing. He would have had to start Percy Harvin, instead he got Chris Johnson. After all is said and done, he said he isn't changing it and that's it. I lost the fricking game by 16 points.

I think he is worried about me making it to the play offs and beating him. My team was 5-5 now 5-6 because of the bush shite he pulled. I think the reason why he did it, is mainly because I have beat him in the 1st or second round of the play off's each year in our league.

I am highly considering just dropping all my players on sunday morning and getting the frick out. Sorry for the long rant, I'm just pissed. What would you guys do?

Been in the league since the start of it.

No, LM approves or Denies the trades. Some guys are not as active as others so, its hard to have other teams approve or veto trades I guess. Never really pushed the issue.

It would be sweet, yet at 5-6 I doubt I make it in.

The fact that he added extra playoff spots last year so he could make it is straight bullshite. IMO I don't really see anything wrong with processing the trade, but the act of putting the player who was traded in the other dude's lineup is bullshite. The only way I could see this being justified is if the other owner instructed the LM to do so because he would not have an internet connection. I don't buy this theory at all, for fricksake it's 2013 everyone has a smarthphone or is in walking distance of a computer.

However, I would try to beat him straight up and troll his arse unmercifully. I would start by changing your team name to something about adding playoff spots, old slam, etc. If it becomes apparent that you can't beat him straight up then yeah, I would result to dirty tactics.

If yall are life long friends obviously your relationship trumps any bullshite that could amass from fantasy sports, but if this is not the case I suggest a scorched Earth policy.

Just my $.02

Processed a trade 8 minutes after a game started and placed at the traded player in a starting spot. Not to mention within those 8 minutes that player had already scored 15 points.

I am an idiot, I read the OP thinking the trade was processed an hour before the game(Eastern Time). This also clarifies why the LM subbed the player into the other dude's lineup, I could not figure that out for the life of me.

frick that shite, but seriously after the shenanigans that you alluded to earlier you should have seen this coming. It does not make it right by any means, but I would never trust a LM who pulled that or waste my time in one of his leagues.

This makes you look like a bitch. Don't stoop to that level. Plus, the commish can easily just lock your team and add your players back to your roster. If you don't like the way the commish rules then get out after the season.

We have always played pretty much that once the season has started there are no rule changes. If your commish added playoff spots mid season you should have complained then and exited the league after that season. If you are playing for money, which I assume, then that is pretty crappy.

I have no real issue with the trade process. I am the commissioner of a league and have processed trades immediately and set a lineup if a manager requested me too. I realize most people have computer or smart phone access, but that is not always the case. I look at trades objectively to make sure there is a benefit to both teams before I approve as well as the records of the teams involved.

If you feel like the commish is shady you should drop out.

But also, you are 5-6. It sounds like your team is struggling this year anyway. You sound more frustrated that your team is under performing and you couldn't overcome the early deficit this week. Still 2 games to go. Try to win and get a spot in the playoffs.

Just saw this. Didn't follow this from the OP. frick that. I would be pissed. I would definitely exit. If you are friends with the commish in real life, you should make sure that he is aware that he is a bitch.

Definitely bullshite... frick that guy. Regardless of what you choose to do, make it your last season. That's crossing the line to a whole new level.

He said the trade was processed 8 min AFTER the game had started. CJ put up about 15pts early in that game. (Thursday Night)

Meh, I have no problem with trades being pushed through as long as it isn't obvious collusion. I've had it happen to me and sometimes I benefit and sometimes it doesn't. You're just mad because Johnson went off and it cost you

Wait he logged in at 7:33 to approve trade/put in player

Johnson scored 3 minutes and 24 seconds into the game, now did kick off occur right at 7:25 or 7:30 like it normally does after the pregame, coin toss, etc?

I don't think he has an issue with the trade being pushed through. The issue is that the trade was pushed through AFTER the game had started and the LM put CJ in the guys lineup when he should have been on the bench.

This is the worst offense, IMO.

Not as bad, because if the trade had been approved immediately (7:23) then that manager could have subbed in CJ himself. As long as the manager told the commissioner that he wanted CJ in BEFORE THE GAME STARTED, I don't see this as a huge abuse of power. Shady, yes. Would I be pissed, probably. But I can see an argument from his side.

But the adding playoff spots mid season is absolutely BS. I would have probably quit the league after that.

Don't do this. It's bush league. Finish the season and then withdraw.
