That's just the way the league rules it and has always done this.

I've even stated I agree with everyone here. Its just one of those things that needs explaining because it's hard to understand at first

The problem that yall still don't understand is that the defender (Nelson) lost the ball. Everyone on defense can not make a defensive play on the ball because the possession of ball was already in Cincinnati's possession. Making the 2nd fumble recovery a offensive recovery

Wrong. We understand. We just disagree with the ruling as it pertains to fantasy football.

When one team has a QB, Offensive line, WRs, and RB on the field.. And the play begins when the ball is snapped to the aforementioned QB.. And the play ends in a touchdown for the opposite team.. Then as far as fantasy football is concerned it should be a defensive fricking touchdown.

It still doesn't make sense because the defense still made the play...the entire offense was still on the sideline.

THIS...because of what I just said...the entire offense was still on the sideline. You have to give credit to the defense for scoring a TD while on...DEFENSE!

In the 2nd quarter WAS safety Kareem Moore intercepted Drew Brees and attempted a return when NO receiver Robert Meachem stripped the ball and returned it for a TD. Yahoo initially scored the play as a defensive TD for NO but it was reversed as a 'offensive fumble return for a TD' and 6 points were given to Meachem.

Using Yahoo's logic, Meachem was a defensive player when he stripped the ball and returned for a TD, so how can he be awarded an offensive TD?

Yahoo! can't get out of their own moronic way lately. First they change the layout to a cheap looking black layout, now they are just ruling arbitrarily just to be arbitrary? Good lord. From probably best format to many problems in a few short weeks.

From what I remember in the Mechem play, Brees INT, Washington DEF INT, Mechem individual TD. I remember someone saying the defense has to be on the field for the D/ST units to get points. Guess it's different when the defense is on the field.

It has indeed. I still lost though...but, I might need those 6 points at the end of the season!

They can only end up with the ball once, but hell why not?
