5 for 95 in game 1
7 for 131 so far in game 2

With this type of production, it is going to be hard for BB to bench him when Hernandez comes back

Hernandez was doing just fine before he went out. There's a reason he got a contract and Wes didn't. That offense is moving towards Hernandez, and away from Welker

He was never gone.

He was likely just benched for breaking team rules.

Correct. After game 1, people were ready to divorce him.

It looks like he's back. He was playing in a big way last night and had multiple targets, including the 59 yard catch early on. Especially with the patriots 1-2, they will really need the big guns instead of trying out anything new.

It might be a good idea to sit on him another game, but as of now I plan on putting him in.

I haven't benched him yet. I was hoping game 1I was an outlier

Edleman doesn't have much to do with it considering welker had over 100 at the time he went down. Hernandez on the other hand, could have something to do with it...but he wont be back for another month

Well he's putting up those numbers this year because Hernandez is out.

He's absolutely back. Why? Because I traded him last week.

who in the blue hell do you have in your lineup where you can afford to sit on that kind of production.

Well..if I knew he would consistently get those targets it would be a no brainer, but the patriots were weird about him the first 2 games.

I use Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne (Wayne gets consistent targets) and usually 3 RBs.
