Will we be keeping 10 going forward?

And thanks for the breakdown.

No problem

This year we will keep 8 and we can vote on increasing keepers going forward.

Don't be like that, bro.

My draft slot in supplemental draft or the first pick alone is OTB.

It is the only time you can make moves all day. There is no free agency. However, you can get zero dollar players.

I think all serious TD leagues should use it.

It sounds like the basketball way based on your description.

I agree, love that format. Streamers will hate it.

You can still make unlimited moves. It definitely curbs some streaming, but you can get around it if you make enough claims.

I know, but without that instant pickup people aren't as enthused about adding free agents every day. Like I said, I love it.

I'm a huge proponent of FAAB, but I'm also not one who IRT scours Twitter for closer injury & prospect callup news.

How do you vote no on FAAB and campaign for better leagues?

How do you vote no on FAAB and spport changes in TDFL to take out the "fluky" nature of fantasy sports?

This league is a caricature of a real fantasy baseball league. I'm not gonna vote yes on a serious change like FAAB when teams are still sending 2 and 3 stud players for draft picks.. thats flukey. FAAB doesn't fit the narrative of this league. If you want to overhaul it and make a best man legitimately wins type league, then ok, lets change up some stuff. Until then this is an NFL Blitz type league where a ton of BS is involved

TDFL is also a fine tuned auction league. You're already placing $ value on draft picks and FAAB makes sense

FAAB does not make sense in a league like this

Lol

Best man wins? Then make this shite roto. Every keeper league on TD has the same pick trading "issue". You just disagree with how others value picks. Even with your version of perfect rules, you cannot control owner behavior. Why should everyone conform to your idea of an ideal league? Maybe you should play in only non-keeper leagues.

Last three league winners:

Lou T
Me
Earl

All three of us were the best team that season. Everyone has the same rules. We have different ways that we play.

Id like that

Every keeper league on TD has the same pick trading "issue".

I know, which is why Im working my way out of all of the ones im in.

You just disagree with how others value picks.

No, I don't want picks to decide a league title.

Even with your version of perfect rules, you cannot control owner behavior.

My perfect rules are ones with no draft picks or ones that come with actual consequence in a trade (ie Dynasty leagues)

Why should everyone conform to your idea of an ideal league?

Hmm never said or even suggested that.

I will. And dynasty leagues.

That's great. Ive won it twice, I traded picks to win to round out my teams down the stretch, I know how it works.

I don't know how many leagues you are in or where else you play, but why not at least try to improve these. I think we both agree FAAB is a step in the right direction.

I created the Votto league because I wanted a league with ideal and fair settings. I know there's flaws of a non keeper, but it is the fairest day-to-day league I can ever imagine.

I would not be opposed to eliminating all draft pick training in future seasons even though I certainly played that system to my advantage.
