Wideouts : Brandin Cooks (very nice player)
Colston (old AF and not as reliable)
Brandon Coleman (have No idea)
Nick Toon (garbage can)
Sentavius Jones (who?)

Tight ends : Josh Hill and Ben Watson (nothing to write home about)

RB's.: Mark Ingram (potential horse)
Spiller (nice hands and shifty, but injury prone)
Khiry (runs hard and can catch)

Drew has thrown for 5k yards (except last year ~50 yds shy) for 3 of last 4 years.

A much improved (on paper) O Line will help Drew stay clean which is important.
Also, with a focus on running the ball should open up play action to free up receivers.

No more Jimmy to create mismatches and go get the jump ball. Colston a step and a half slow, other unproven receivers,. Cooks looks to be a stud, but once defenses start taking him away how effective will he be?

Will Drew throw for over 4,000 yds and 35 TD's this year?

I say easily 4,000. Probably 5k
35 tds is pushing it.

I think it will be another very productive fantasy year, but tough to watch for Saints fans.

Since he is my fantasy QB I hope

5000
40-td
10-15 int
Plus 5 rushing td's

But will be more like

4700-4800
32-37 td's
15-20 int's
-5 yards rushing

really tough because i dont really know if Coleman will pass up Colston. But ill take a stab.

Cooks 90 for 1250 9 TDS
Colston 65 for 850 7 TDS
Coleman 50 for 750 6 TDs

Spiller 75 catches 700 yards 3 TDS
give 30 catches to Ingram and another 30 to Khiry.

Watson/Hill should catch about 80 balls for 800 yards or so combined. lets say 6-8 TDs

Then factor in guys like Bill Snead and Joe Morgan. Might get 4-5 combined.

Toon and Seantavious Jones will prob be cut, imo.

See I got him 3,850'yds, 32tds, 18 picks.

More run oriented and lack of proven wrs will lead to an off year(by design) for Brees. Especially if this o line doesn't come to play, pshht, not good.

There is really no way he throws under 4500 yards. Even with an improved run game, it's still Payton and Brees. Our defense is not dominant. We will need to throw the ball.

Line should hold up. If they run well, the pass will be more efficient.

Brees hasnt thrown for less than 4300 as a Saint. 3850 is way low.

based on his Yards per attempt as a Saint, if he threw for 3850 yards he would only have 500 pass attempts. He has averaged 630 as a Saint.

If anyone was familiar with watching Brees last year you could visibly see his throwing motion was just off. I didn't realize he had a torn oblique, which caused him to alter his throwing motion, which then fricked up a part of his shoulder due to the change

As a result, he spent more time with his mechanics coach longer in the offseason than he has the past 5 years after fully healing. Oh, and he still managed to throw for 4900+ yards. I think he is far and away the 3rd best QB in fantasy. I think he is an absolute steal in the 5th round

I truly think the volume will still be there. I'm going to give him a high floor of 4800 yds/33 TDs/14 INTs. I love that people hate Brees this year
