ADP/Auction value currently very close between the two.
Last year's stats:
Hopkins: 76-1,210-6
Evans: 68-1,051-12
I have my thoughts, but wanted to get some opinions.

Helpful as always. Thanks.

I hate giving my competition advice
One is in a run heavy offense but will get major targets (Hopkins)
Evans is better and in an arguably better offense (they have an actual OC this year) and a better QB. To me this is literally a coin flip to who you think will be better. Hopkins had 76 catches with AJ he could get close to 100 this year

See, that wasn't difficult now was it.
Btw if I draft Hopkins in our league I reserve the right to change my team name to "The Ill Mind of DeAndre Hopkins".

I'm taking Evans, he's the better WR.

Good to know. Hopkins it is.

Fairly even I think.
Both had very good years with shite QBs. Evans has a better QB this year and Hopkins is the no. 1 now with Andre Johnson gone
Do we really think Evans will get 12 TDs again? I realize King Crab is slinging it, but VJax's TD average will come back up. That was an anomaly last year
I'd be surprised if Hopkins didn't post a line of at least like 80/1250/8

I'd take Hopkins. More targets, more opportunities. Evans will rely on the TD week to week.

he may not repeat that amount of TDs again, but given his size and ability to go get it, he's going to be given a ton of looks down there regardless.
I lean Evans, I just think he has the talent to move into that upper tier of WRs.

Way to jump to conclusions.

Hopkins, outside of Randy Moss, Fitz and Josh Gordon, had the most receiving yards of any WR in his age 22 season.
Andre Johnson had 31% of the targets last year by Texan WR's.
Bill O'Brien: On average his WR1 see at least 27% of his team's targets.
If Hopkins maintains his efficiency, he's looking at the least, a 1400 yard season with that volume of targets. Ceiling, he's look at an Antonio Brown-like season.
I like both, but give me the slight lean to Hopkins

Hopkins floor for catches should be higher than Evans. Would have me lean towards him in a PPR.
Plus if you have any type of bonuses for long plays Hopkins has more homerun ability to house a short pass for a TD.
