Terrible trade. If you know the commish lied about draft order why are you in a league with him?

To the OP: I would just ask the two members to give their reasoning. I don't think people are colluding in week 1.

no, MY commissioner lied about the draft order not his...still, the OP is in a bullshite league
my sitch is that it is a league I didn't give two shits about until my buddy told me the story and I started checking out...took her off auto draft and I'm in it to kill every motherfricker in that league. And since the league is corrupted, if the commish somehow lucks into a good situation, we will collude to stop him.

Dont get me wrong, it's a terrible deal. But if I thought every terrible deal ive seen in fantasy over the years was collusion, a lot of them would have been veto worthy

I don't know. This looks like collusion. Significant downgrades at each position don't make any sense.

a friend of mine was in our league last year. Offered me $50 for Calvin Johnson. Priced him out of the league this year, so he starts one with mutual friends and others, good group and pulls the draft bullshite
He thinks he sucked last year because he had a low pick. He sucked because he drafted aaron Dobson in the 6th round of an 8 man league. I do have to give him credit, he is a boss on the WW

wasn't even his worst pick...guess what area of the country he's from: this is 2013 and an 8 man league
1st round: Calvin Johnson - not bad
2nd round: Stevan Ridley - there were two clearly better backs on the board
3rd round: Rob Gronkowski - remember last year he was 100% not playing in the opener. he was already injured, not just an injury concern
then after that it was probably the worst draft in fantasy history
then, surprisingly, he picked up
knoshawn Moreno
KC DST
and some other real scores before everyone even knew to go roster them...probably the best week to week manager of anyone, just he had a lot of shite players to work with
so confusing, ok maybe he's learned...marginally, but he had the #1 pick. and he reached again on pats players

Is the friend an idiot or are they "friends"?
An investigation should be launched. If collusion has occurred, then they should be both be expelled from the league. No second chances for cheating.
