Shitty Shonn Greene ran it 276 times while still giving up 110 carries to Pilal.

all in all the Jets ran it almost 500 times and were 6th in rushing attempts......problem is that the average was an appalling 3.8 yards as a team

Teams that ran it as much as the Jets include
Seattle, New England, Houston, Redskins, Chiefs, 49ers, Vikings......the better rushing teams in the NFL....those averaged 4.2-5.4

point is, with a Higher average...Ivory has the coaching staff that could yield a top-5 Rusher.

Career 5.1 rusher(when the RB1 ahead of him was a 3.8 avg) ... he's only projected that high 3's that Shonn pulled with the Jets

what do you think the Ivory Tower will pull?
1. <4 ypc
2. 4-4.5 ypc
3. 4.5-5 ypc
4. 5+ ypc

The only thing holding back Ivory from a top 20 type season is his health IMO. Thats a big thing though since he is brittle

I think he gets right around 4.5

I'd much rather take Ivory in the late 5th/early 6th than Trent in the late first. I think he's definitely capable of having a season at least as good as Trent did last year IF he stays healthy. Trent is a better receiver but Ivory is explosive as hell.

NYJ and Cleveland are pretty similar teams the key to both backs will be if the D's can keep the offense in the game long enough to keep running.

He runs hard as shite and seems to look for contact.

He also will get stacked up and keep churning for that extra yard or two...getting walloped by defenders catching up on the play.

He gets hurt and fumbles a lot as a result

little concerned about the catches as he only has 3 to his name....but right in line with what I'm thinking

We had guys for that. Tough to throw to Ivory with PT and Sproles on the roster.

Upside guy, sure, but I'm seeing him taken as RB2 in most mocks.

25 4.09 Christopher Ivory

25th RB overall, end of the 4th in a 12 man, would be RB3/Flex

Going right after Bell/Ball(choose your rookie) and right before Bradshaw/Mathews(choose your injury)

Definitely not here. I'd draft him to have on the roster hoping he makes a splash, but he won't be my #2

I took him as RB3 in a couple, but the others I've participated in have him going RB2 to someone using early picks on WR.

To be fair, the last mock I was in was before Bradshaw signed, for perspective.
