PPR snake draft, second season in a row in this league I've ended up picking last

QB- Aaron Rodgers (4)
RB- TJ Yeldon (7)
RB- Giovani Bernard (6)
WR- Dez Bryant (1)
WR- Allen Robinson (2)
Flex- Eric Decker (3)
TE- Delanie Walker (5)
D/ST- Bengals (11)
K- Mason Crosby (14)

B- Josh Gordon (8)
B- Theo Riddick (9)
B- Willie Snead (10)
B- Alfred Morris (12)
B- Darren Sproles (13)

I don't have a goal line back so that sucks, but I'm hoping to get 10-12 a week from the backs catching passes. My thought is that I have enough target monsters and red zone receivers- coupled with Rodgers- that i'll be able to make a run.

You will be playing RB roulette every week with that group.

QB, WR, should be good for now.

Right now your RB core looks pretty weak, just wait a few weeks and stay on top of the waiver wire.

Knees are gonna be snapped left and right. You'll find good backups.

That wr lineup and rodgers can carry you til then in 12 man.

Like dez/allen combo. Would have went RB on 3rd pick over decker, not a fan. Qb/te is strong. Work the waivers to beef up your rbs, they are droppin like flies lately

Could've went Forte or Hyde there. Thuthfully i've never like decker either, but every time i've played against him he's scored a touchdown. So I did a little research, turns out that sumbitch is a demon in the redzone

quote:

Decker has ranked among the top 10 wide receivers during three of the past four seasons, making him one of the most underrated players in fantasy. The definition of consistent, he posted a top-30 WR week in all 15 of his games last season. Decker ended up with 80 receptions, 1,027 yards and 12 TDs. There was nothing fluky about that TD total: He was targeted within 3 yards of the goal line a league-high 27 times and racked up 20 end zone targets, third most in the NFL.

It looks like you took Cooks in the second which I think is a reach. At the moment, you don't have an RB2 that you're able to start unless Elliot stays dinged up. Murray is a questionable RB1 as well because he may end up getting vultured at the goal line by Henry. I'm assuming this is a standard scoring league- in which case you really fricked up by taking a WR with your first 3 picks.

I like your bench a lot- Gordon, Hurns, Diggs, and Williams are all players that can start and will serve as good trade bait

eta: I see now it's PPR but still don't quite get some of your picks. Cooks seems like a reach in the second. You didn't grab any pass catching backs and there were a ton for the taking later in the draft- bernard, riddick, sims, vereen, white, etc. Your RB selection looks like you picked for a standard scoring league

Drop Theo and Snead for roster versatility for RB lottery tickets till you need your bye fillers at QB and TE

Morris and Sproles are keeps in your situation you need sleeper RB's

Gordon as a 4th WR is worth riding as a potential no.1 WR in that O

Thompson and CJ2K stand out at the moment to me due to potential workload inheritance IMO.

Leagues are not won before the season. Eyeball future moves but trust your hunches.

Theo has a similar role IMO as Sproles without the upside but beating the Wire can win your league. If Matt Jones or David Johnson go down or are uneffective these are moves that can win leagues. However WW comes into effect if you react vs anticipate.

See if he has any value. You have until September what 8th to pair and move him for an upgrade if you can charm people.

Drew throws 35-45 times a game. Snead is the no.2 WR

Snead had 1K plus year 1 etc

I have no earthly idea why anyone is telling you to drop Snead in a PPR league. He's going to get at least 4-5 catches a game, if anything trade Dez or Robinson for a RB. In fact, for PPR I love your roster. Bernard and Yeldon are going to get the pass catching work on their respective rosters, if Gordon has a decent game or two, he'll be able to trade worthy. I would possibly look for a TE more than anything but that's just because I don't trust the Titans to be consistent week to week. PPR is all about the passing game and you'll come across some RBs throughout the season.

Why trade an elite WR combination for a startable RB?

Snead is neither the deep threat(Cooks) or RZ guy(Thomas or Fleener)

He is at best Lance and that guy locally is usually overratted. Drew statistically only targets his WR's 30% of the time and Thomas might be the true no.2 WR by Bye or Fantasy playoffs. Sell Snead if he has value now IMO.
