I'm a commissioner in a league and we just had our draft tonight. About an hour after the draft ended, I got an email telling me that two managers wanted to make a trade. The trade is Peyton Manning for Le'Veon Bell.
In your opinion, is this a good trade or is this lopsided?
I have my opinion, but wanted to get everyone's thoughts from the board.

who is the one who is getting peyton manning's QB?
he could have gotten stuck with a bad QB and panicked. its not a terrible trade if he has crap at QB imo. or maybe he wanted manning and he got picked earlier than he expected.

Lopsided, yes. Do you suspect they planned this? If not, no veto.

I added the draft results for each team so you can see team composition and draft selections.

Looking at the trade without looking at the teams, I would say team 1 needs to give up something else.
That being said, both teams are horrible at drafting and something seems fishy with team 1s motives for drafting 4 qbs consecutively.

I mean I could see why team 1 would want to trade Peyton is because they drafted 4 QB in a row. Kind of a head scratcher there.

I'd raise hell and belittle people but don't know if I would veto.

Completely lopsided trade. Collusion or a completetely restarted player.
If it was Luck or Rogers, I'd let it go. But Peyton has some question marks.
And who are the idiots drafting 2-6 who didn't take Bell?

He had to take those qbs expecting to trade. But team two has Matt Ryan. No way I'm giving up Bell for Manning if I have Ryan.

I understand stockpiling to try to corner the market. Usually doesn't work but it's a strategy.
What I can't understand is why the 2nd team wants Peyton, who is transitioning to a more run-oriented offense and is 39, when they have Matt Ryan.

I think Team #1 was having connection issues and it autodrafted the 4 QBs. My guess is he put them in the queue and was planning on taking the best left with the 2nd round pick and got kicked off and it just selected 4 in a row.

I drafted 1st and took AP. Not sure why the others didn't take Bell.

I guess he was hoarding QBs to trade? Strange. But why would you trade guys who were picked 25 spots apart right after the draft. It makes no sense.
Nevermind, saw above post about connection issues.

Why would a team w/ Matt Ryan trade a top 3 RB for manning ???
Posted on 9/6/15 at 11:56 pm to GOON
Let him stick it out with 2 rbs. Veto trade. He will have to drop some of those qbs to roster more rbs at some point.

This board never ceases to amaze me

That's even worse than the trade.
