Yeah, money doesn't dictate TDs or rushing a player back.

This is a top 5 team in the NFL. They don't need Harvin if he's not 100%

Sidney Rice's is a great WR. His best season reads 83/1312/8, better than any season Harvin has ever had. Why doesn't he produce in Seattle's offense?
Laughable.

Rice's 2nd best season was last year with Wilson. 748 yards, 7 TDs.

Rice has played 6 seasons prior to this year.

The one outlier you mentioned and then... 748 next. 484 yards is his 3rd best season. Great receiver my arse.

Harvin career, injuries and all:
4 seasons: 3302 Rec yards, 20 TDs, 683 Rushing yards, 4 TDs (and if you want to count 3183 Ret yards, 5 TDs).

Rice career:
6 seasons: 3361 Rec Yards, 27 TDs, 9 rushing yards, 0 TDs.

1. I don't see the Seahawks rushing him back. They invested in this guy and rushing him back to risk further injury isn't smart. Furthermore, they're doing just fine without him. They're sitting at 5-1 with a cupcake schedule coming up.

2. Seahawks don't pass a lot. Wilson is way down the charts in pass attempts. I don't see them changing their entire approach to the game just because they get Harvin back.

Man, KA looks like the real deal. Tons of targets and goes deep. Rivers loves him.

Rice has been healthy for 2 seasons.

1 was his huge year with Favre.

1 was last season with Wilson.

He's a great WR when he's healthy. You can slob Harvin all you want. He couldn't come close to those numbers in 2009 and 2010 with the same team and QB.

Harvins best season was a 3-13 Vikings team with Michael Jenkins and Devin Aromoshodou where the WR2 and WR3. He saw 120 targets from a shitty QB who couldn't complete a pass past 10 yards.

Keep banking your season on him though

Wow. Just wow.

I have no real response to this idiocy.

Harvin is my WR6... of 6. He's a stash for if the time comes and he's playing well, you turn your WR3/4/Flex1/2 into a 18-20ppg monster. If not, you play with the team that got you there.

Harvin is for those already in position. For my main team, I'm 2nd in OA scoring and #1 in record. I'm fine keeping Harvin rostered.

Like I said playoffs. If you make it, you didn't make it because of harvin. 2-4 good luck.

What do you expect from Harvin?

A low end WR2, or the 24th WR in 12 PPR league, average around 14 points a game.

What type of average would you need to see from Harvin in order to come to the fantasy board and best your chest for stashing him for 13 weeks?

$68mil=touches. Period. Seattle didn't pay him that because he's a subpar WR that'll do possibly as well as SRice and disappear into that offense.

He's a dynamic play maker. Anyone arguing that is just doing it because Harvin caused them to lose a Fantasy game or something in the last couple of years. Is it even remotely possible that the Seahawks are what they are on offense because of the lack of him as a playmaker. Think USC in 05 if Bush was out. A bunch of great WRs, pretty good RB in White, but put Bush in there and it took the greatest performance in a long time to beat them.

I agree too about no one depending on him to win their Fantasy league this year. However, what happens if he does come back strong, a la ADP, gonna be a lot of folks pissed they didn't pick him up when they had the chance.

I'm not beating my chest about Harvin. I only posted stats, which is the heart and soul of FF.

Harvin when healthy puts up solid to great PPR numbers. SEA paid Harvin $11 million a year for 6 years. That's difference maker money. Think about Graham and the Saints and what he is going to command, top TE numbers or top WR numbers. It'll end up at around 9-11 million a year. Difference maker.

Sidney Rice a great WR. Still

Harvin doesn't need to do shite to justify his WR6 spot on a roster that won't need to play him unless it's helping win FF games.

Yo

Where are the touches for Dwayne Bowe?

Mike Wallace?

Sidney Rice makes like $9m a year

Where da touches at bra?

Miles Austin?
Greg Jennings?
Marques Colston?
Mike Williams?

Someone needs to remind the QBs that these are the highest paid WRs in the nfl

You do realize Peterson had a knee injury and Harvin a hip? And what Peterson did was unprecedented over the landscape of every major sport dating back to forever ago.

I know Harvin is an awesome player. Golden Tate is dynamic and would be way more valuable if he were on a team like GB or NO. Sidney Rice is a WR1 in a different system. Watch the Seahawks play. They aren't 3-13 Minny with Ponder as a QB playing with 1 offensive option.

Go get em tiger

Last post for me, Harvin='s Bush/McKnight. Seattle has this guy named Pete Carroll. When healthy 68 mill=touches.

What the what?!?

Golden Tate had 3 career TDs before Wilson - in 27 games. He's scored 8 since - in 21 games.

I've already poster Rice stats. But here's more: He has 9 TDs in 22 games with Wilson. His best 2 seasons combined prior to Wilson? 12 TDs in 29 games and/or 10 TDs in 22 games. Both encompass his OUTLIER of 83/1312/8 in 2009!

No need to post further. I win.
