Yea, it's chickenshit if the consolation bracket doesn't mean anything. I'm gonna write it into the bylaws next year that rosters freeze when you get eliminated

I don't think it should be a rule. Consider it a benefit of being a higher seed if non playoff teams snatch a guy up before a 4 seed.

Um, that doesn't make any sense. The 4 seed may not need a player, or may take the guy you wanted to take as a result of eliminated player picking someone valuable up.
