I'm not the one trying to make it sound like Morey and the Rockets are the Spurs organization.
Morey, like every other GM of a good team in the league besides Spurs, got lucky to land his star player and went from there.

I don't think Houston would've gotten the same Gordon that New Orleans has I don't think there's much of a debate to that.

Being around a winning organization with well respected coaches/mentors in place does a lot of good for a guy like Gordon.

soooo,,, David Robinson gets hurt for almost the whole year and the Spurs win 20 games and get the #1 pick to land Duncan. That's not luck right?
But Morey playing his cards right to acquire draft picks, cap space, etc to make the trade for Harden WAS luck.
