Speaking in a Wednesday radio interview, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Thanksgiving is the "earliest" David Johnson (wrist surgery) could return.

"Rehab’s going great," Johnson himself said on Wednesday. "Just got my cast. Feeling good." Johnson also said he's without a timetable for a return. Technically, Johnson could return in early-November, but the Cardinals aren't pretending that's a possibility. When Johnson first went down, Arians said he hoped to have him back by Christmas. Week 12 is probably a long shot.

Worth holding on to??? You get him for 5 games including the playoff at best. But the way the cardinals are playing his upside isn’t as high as preseason.

My team is so shitty I'm just going to hold on to him to make sure no one else gets him in the playoffs.

Just watching the world burn.

i lost him and Olsen and managed to get Buck Allen and Mckinnon, so hopefully they hold me over. Ingram should be okay too

If you don't need the roster spot to make the playoffs I'd keep him, could put you over the top.
