In one league we get to keep two keepers if we want, if not get a pick in the first two rounds. The league is also PPR.
The choices are
Peyton Manning
Forte
Mike Wallace
larry fitzgerald

thanks

Edit. I will have the 6th pick in the draft, out of 10 teams.

I'd go for the two picks...I like Forte but I think he's 30...he's at the edge of the cliff. Wallace is terrible in PPR and Fitz is not keepable in any format. Peyton...eh...how is he doing physically? I just think he's at the end and will mostly handoff this year...think Elway during his SB runs at the end of his career.

1. Matt Forte (How is this even a question lol)

Let go of the rest. You could easily land Wallace/Fitzgerald in the 7th,8th,9th round, if not later.

He's probably looking at landing someone like Forte after keepers have been selected. I am not high on Forte either, But I would keep him and throw the rest back.

Manning may be a top 7 QB still but that's too high of a price to keep him.

do you know where you will pick?

id maybe keep Forte if you pick would come late in the round, cause i agree with Port, you'll likely target a RB like him anyway.

i wouldnt keep any of the other guys

Forte and a pick in the first two rounds. In a 10 team league you should be able to get a good QB later in the draft.

I would keep Forte.

I would assume anyone you would want ahead of Forte would also be kept. Without knowing who would and wouldn't be kept and how many people would pick ahead of me at #6, I would keep Forte and throw everyone else back.

Unless there is a team that has 3 top tier players that I would want over Forte (and I knew that everyone ahead of me in the first round - #s 1-5 - would forfeit the pick to keep players), I would keep Forte.

Let them all go and take the picks.

Forte is going to be a massive bust this year. I have been on record in every thread posted about him, and people laugh, but he finishes outside the top 30 RBs this year.

That team belongs in a Nursing Home.

To OP, I agree that Forte is the only one to even consider, but I wonder who you think might be there at six. There are only 18 guys that can possibly be kept if you have nine other teams. Look at the other rosters and try to figure out who will be there at number six. Gurley possibly? You need to remember that there is certainly no one on your list to keep for next year. Isn't dynasty all about planning ahead?

what's your reasoning?

by sheer volume alone, there is almost no way he misses the top 30 unless he gets hurt.

I think Forte has a worse fantasy year this year than last, but not finishing in the top 30?

Age, workload last 2 seasons, the dumpster Fire potential that is the Bears this season.

Forte is due for a massive decline if you look at historical rb data ( I will try and find the article that takes in all the data) and I don't want to either keep him or spend a 1st round pick on him the year it happens.

I traded him in my keeper league for the #1 overall pick and think I came out like a bandit

i mean, i can see some decline, but out of the top 30?

he's a lock to catch 40-50 balls, and maybe upwards of 70. That alone will keep him top 15 in a PPR league.

I'm with you, Lester. There are only 32 teams. Hard to believe that all but one of them will have a running back with more points than Forte. Assuming he doesn't get injured or caught on video abusing someone, I say Forte has to be better than 30th.

I am talking in a non ppr.

And to the other poster trying to rationalize this by teams, a lot of teams have multiple backs that will finish ahead of him, Gio and J Hill, Ingram and spiller, and so on

Not as simple as 1 bell cow back per team

even so he's lock for 1300-1400 yards from scrimmage, at the very least. He's never had below 1400 yards from scrimmage in a single season.

140pts there. at the least

you figure he at least gets 4-5 TDS rushing(averages 6 per year) and another 1 receiving(averages 2 per year). At the least

so lets say another 30points from TDs.

170 total points, at the least. Would have put him 11th amongst RBs in standard scoring leagues last year.

the guy literally has to fall off a cliff and die to not be somewhere in the top 30.

I see him getting injured, he has a ton of miles on him, the historical data suggests he has past due for a major regression.

Just don't think he is a safe keep or 1st rounder
