Friend of mine is running a pool (see title).
You pick a single team, for the season. The goal is to have that team score "x" number of runs at least one time throughout the season (0-13)
Example: I pick Boston and they score 7 runs the first game. I cross out 7 on my sheet. They score 4 the next game, I cross out 4 on my sheet. So on and so forth until they have scored 1-13 runs in separate games.
First person to cross all numbers 1-13 wins the pot.
I don't know jack shite about baseball. Which team(s) should I be considering?

looks like something that is based on sheer luck. Not sure there is much of strategy besides avoiding the bottom dwellers that arent capable of hitting double digits.
best offensive teams
Cubs
Toronto
Orioles
Dodgers
Rangers
Astros
Yankees
KC
Colorado
Washington
Detroit
Pittsburgh
id start there

Braves, Marlins, Phillies, Reds, Padres... those would be my top choices.

eh, we all play fantasy football. here, you only get to draft once.
sounds more fun than playing a football pool and getting stuck with 2 and 5

Well yeah, that's what Chris Carter adds to a lineup.

Went with:
1-Colorado Rockies
2-Boston Red Sox
3-Houston Astros
4-Chicago Cubs
5-Pittsburgh Pirates
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm hoping my lack of knowledge helps me in this case
