Lets talk about Baldwin...

No, not the Baldwin brothers. The Baldwin from another mother.
Yeah, we are going to talk about Doug Baldwin.
Graham is out for Seattle. Seattle is playing the vikings which have a decent defense versus the run. Baldwin has put up some pretty decent numbers recently and seems to be the guy to get most of the targets up there.
How good do we think he is going to be?
There are many other options out there, but where would you rank him against some WRs that people are wondering about?
Lafell, Cooks, Parker, Evans, even Amendola.
I would think you roll with Amendola and Evans if you have them or a receiver on their level. And we are talking about the new post edelman Amendola.
Lafell, cooks, and Parker seem to be interesting questions.
Lafell is facing a spiraling Iggles. Cooks is going possibly without Snead. And Parker is that combination of where talent and opportunity mesh.
But the same could be said of Baldwin. He has had the talent, but it seems as though opportunity is arrived.
Where would you guys rank Baldwin? Who would you start over him, who would you start him over?

I like him ROS actually, but he should treated as a WR3 with high WR2 upside.

That pretty much answers your thoughts on Baldwin I guess.
If a rather short paragraph is too much to write about Baldwin, then I guess he isn't exactly what you would call starterable.
However there are a number of people who might not be start worthy this week.
Lafell hasn't gone off in weeks yet people are still putting him up to start. Dez lost his qb and has been injured, yet some still start him. Cooks is facing a Panters defense that has caused lots of trouble and may be facing their primary cb.
In the fact that we are in what, week 13 and the we have had assorted injuries to many players, taking a second to discuss Baldwin, who might surprise people with a big weekend, might be worth it.

I probably wouldn't start Baldwin.

Where are you in your league standings? Do you need to win to get in the playoffs? Do you need a big score to win this week? If I needed a home run to win this week, I may throw him in and see what happens. If you're securely in the playoffs and don't need the W, I'd roll with what you got

How does this come up every year?

Idk man, my teams don't blow dick so I haven't given starting Baldwin much thought at all
Posted on 12/5/15 at 6:56 pm to thetempleowl
no reason to be starting any WRs from Seattle

If your WR 2 and WR 3 are Tavon and Tate, yes you do sigh

This thread made drop Baldwin for Moncrief (my long time hold)and now I am starting to think that may have been an error.

I chickened out and didn't play him over Lafell.
