I admittedly did not get to watch a lot of the Indy game, but if Andre looked as terrible as I keep reading, would it be shocking if he ends up being your #2 WR in Indy? I love the guy's talent, but I wasn't sure he was going to get an opportunity with the way things were going in Indy this preseason.

i know i read he got 10 targets even before Hilton left the game.

6'2"

i took a shot on him. Not sure if ill start him this week yet, but i think he has a chance to get a lot of run.

I have not read one positive thing about his play Sunday. Old and slow came up quite a bit though.

if I hitched my WR2 to his wagon, I'm watching that game with a very concerned eye

DING DING DING

I picked him up for FREE this week. If the targets hold up this solves my bye week dilemma for Julio / Alshon

Revis is shutting down one of the colt WR this week. Don't know which one yet

Don't think cromartie will go so the other guy should see ample targets. They might not even waste Revis on AJ

Lot's of great prime time games this week to scout out guys:

Manning, CJ Anderson, Gore, AJ81, and Packers WRs

Colts were down 17-0 in the first half and forced to throw. I expect more Frank this week.

That said, he's still a good option if TY is out.

This is what makes me hesitant to start Moncrief. I'm currently leaning towards a wait and see approach and leave him on the bench.

@Rand_Getlin: I'm told #Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is day-to-day with his knee injury, and will probably be a game-time decision on Monday against the #Jets.

Honestly best case scenario for moncrief is Hilton playing. Revis erases Hilton, moncrief eats

Starting him. He's going HAM.

So if Hilton is out and Revis matches with Moncrief, then AJ will eat.

What sucks is that game is Monday night. We have not way of knowing who Revis will cover. I have AJ, but am not going play him over James Jones or Stevie Johnson at this point. And if I'm a Moncrief owner, I'm concerned as well. Probably safe to not play any colts WRs IMO if Hilton is out.

Assuming Hilton sits, you would take the risk of not knowing if Revis will cover Moncrief or AJ?

Watch out for Phillip Dorsett, if he can hang on to the ball. He is a burner, and everybody knows what Johnson and Moncrief can do, so those will be the two that garner the most attention from the defense.

I need a WR3 and have to choose between Moncrief and Davante Adams. I checked the Fantasy Pros "who to start," and its had Adams 82%, Moncrief 18%. Both WRs are on the Start 'Em list on Si.com. CBS projections (which I think are generated in January for the next season) have Adams at 8+ and Moncrief at not quite 5.

I'm intrigued by both situations, though I think Moncrief has the greater upside if Hilton is out.

Not to highjack your thread, but maybe some of the Moncrief commentators can weigh in on this situation, too.

I have Devante Adams and Andre Johnson. IMO, Moncrief and Johnson are equal this week if Hilton is out. One will be covered by Revis, so taking that risk is not worth it IMO. Whoever is spared Revis island will have a huge game though. So VERY high risk high reward. Devante is the safer option with much more upside if Sherman is covering Cobb.
