Or Joseph Randle in the 13th?

I'm already keeping Charles in the 1st and Antonio B in the 2nd.

.5 PPR/ 10 team

Jordy in the 3rd is pretty good, but not a ton of value. You know what you're getting and you're getting a great player, but only about 1 round later than you could draft him.

I've seen Randle projected to go anywhere from 3rd to 6th round, so 13th would be great value, but it's not a given that he'll even be on your team all year.

Jordy = low risk, high cost, high reward
Randle = high risk, low cost, unsure reward

I'd probably go with Jordy.

Depends on how many people are keeping guys with their 1st and 2nd rd picks.

What do you project the draft pool to look like and how many picks will occur before your 3rd rder?

If the majority of people are sacrificing their top picks, then I roll the dice with Randle.

To me if you have a great player that isn't going to cost more than their adp I keep them and sleep like a baby.

would you rather have brown, charles, nelson or brown charles randle?

We won't know that until 24hrs prior to the draft. Everyone turns in their keepers and then we all find out at the same time.

I'm sure the really really high end guys will be kept but people near the bottom of the 1st tier will be put back. A lot of rookies from last year that played well and were drafted low will be kept (OBJ for a 13th for example).

Lot of money at stake here?
If so, it's worth it to go through team by team and project keepers and the subsequent draft order.

Then you can create a top 30 big board and see how many picks will be made until your 3rd.

Who knows, you might be able to redraft Nelson or someone similar with your 3rd pick. Then Randle is a no-brainer.

Yeah you need to go through each team individually, and project the keepers for that team. When in doubt go with the lower round pick player to make sure you cover all the bases and account for worst-case scenario. Come back and report how many projected picks would be before your 3rd and who'd be available.

But my initial reaction to this before anything would be Jordy.

One of the best fantasy teams that i ever had was with gronk brown and nelson. That was 2 years ago. Those guys won games every week.

It helped that i also had brees and B Marshall.

We don't start a TE in this league. They are in the draft pool and we can use them as a flex. I think Gronk is going to be kept as a 3rd rd guy.

If everybody's keeping 3 players, i doubt you'll find anything as good as Jordy in the 3rd round. Hard to say without seeing the other teams and draft order, etc. but id keep Jordy based on the info given.

Id start the season with JC, Brown, and Jordy. Thats a pretty good start even without your top 3 picks. They're all "safe" picks and thats what you want early in the draft. No sense in taking a risk with your keeper. Get an every week starter.
