Got Sanders in the 6th last year so I would lose a 5th this year.

I picked up Matthews of the WW, so I would lose a 13th for him this year.

Considering the value of Matthews at 13, the play has to be Matthews right?

I was a big Sanders fan last year but in that scenario the value with Matthews is really good. I would keep him.

Thats what I'm thinking, Matthews at 13 is too great a value to pass up.

on the other hand a 6th round pick really isn't shite either. Kinda no man's land, you're not really getting a sure thing

Sanders seems to be trending down while Matthews is trending up, but it's all offseason fluff reports at this point. Hopefully you don't have to make a decision soon

I'd prob take Matthews just because if he works out, then he's under your control for as long as your league allows basically

yea. Do you know the most yards a WR has ever caught in a season with Bradford under center?

Sanchez is the backup, who id prob rather start if i owned a Philly WR

Mathews did have an awesome rookie year, and Maclin is gone. But sitll Bradford worries me as much as i want to trust that system

no WR has ever had more than 700 yards

I was wondering this or whether maybe Demarco Murray has learned to throw the ball. I like Matthews and his opportunity to emerge, but playing in the slot is unlikely to generate a bunch of yards. Besides, my preseason strategy is that I'm staying away from Eagles in fantasy this year.

Sanders really surprised me last year. If he can stay healthy, even a decline from last year would leave him worthy of a 5th round pick.

I may be biased again Chip Kelly after his off season moves, but I'd go with Sanders.

keeping matthews isnt a big deal bc you are getting value on him regardless. so it's kind of a freebie even though he is being overrated going into the year

I get that, but Sanders topped 1400 yards last year. Matthews is unlikely to do that ever in his career, and certainly won't do it with any of the quarterbacks currently on the Eagles roster.

Sam Bradford has got to be one of the luckiest dudes ever. Got that HUGE rookie deal, and ain't did shite. And for the most part has escaped the criticism.

Yeah I think you have it pegged right, Matthews in the 13th seems like the obvious choice here. Great value and I don't see sanders replicating his past season

How many teams?

In a 10 teamer, I'm keeping Sanders all day. 12/14, it becomes interesting.

Peyton's WR2 2012-2014 Avg: (Sanders, Decker, Decker)

Tar/Catch/Yd/Td

133/91/1252/11

Fantasy Points Avg:
Std: 191.2
.5 PPR: 236.7
PPR: 282.2

Eagles: WR1 Under Kelly (Maclin, Jackson)

134.5/83.5/1325/9.5

Std: 189.5
.5 PPR: 231.25
PPR: 273

I don't really care if Sanders is "trending downward", the OC has changed, or even if he regresses some. I know Emmanuel will get his. Even as enticing as Matthews is in round 13, I would rather take the sure thing in round 5.

Allows you to focus on getting a stud wr/rb early and then letting the draft fall to you.

Yeah, that just suggests an uptick in TD production.

2012 with no Thomas was the high mark of Td's for the 2 with 13.

Wr 3 was Stokely, TE was Tamme/Dressen.

I take Matthews all day. They are pretty closely ranked but the difference in draft picks is what makes it obvious. They are both mid range WR 2s
