Keep a low performing top draft pick or trade for high performing late rounder?

Which is best, fantasy baseball veterans?

For example, I have BJ Upton and Edwin Encarnacion on my team. Should I try to trade them for a Chris Davis, Coco Crisp, Dexter Fowler, etc?
