Sidney Rice (hip) was able to run at full speed and make cuts in his return to Vikings practice Wednesday.
Rice "didn't appear hindered by the injury," according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, while Jeremy Fowler of the St. Paul Pioneer Press confirms that what Rice was able to do "looked encouraging," even if he's still "rusty, as expected." Rice isn't likely to play in Week 9, but could return for Week 10.

Austin Collie (thumb surgery) returned to Colts practice on a limited basis Wednesday.
Collie's initial timetable was 2-6 weeks. Phillip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star now believes he has a chance to play in Week 9, which would put him at the most optimistic end of the recovery period. Wilson called Collie's return to a limited practice "encouraging." Ultimately, the Colts may need to push Collie back with Anthony Gonzalez (knee) hurt again.

Antonio Gates tore the plantar fascia in his right foot during Week 8 -- the foot opposite the left toe and ankle injuries that have hobbled him for the past two weeks.
He's now got significant injuries on both feet. Gates sought a medical opinion for plantar fasciitis last May, but it hasn't been a regular season problem until now. "My (right) foot was on fire," said Gates, who suffered the new injury in the second half of last Sunday's win. Many people find it difficult to walk for multiple weeks after popping their plantar fascia. Predicted foot specialist Dr. Phillip Kwong, "It’s going to be really tough to play with any proficiency this Sunday. ... This injury will make it difficult for him to push off and be explosive." Gates appears to be in real danger of missing Week 9.

Coach Jim Caldwell indicated that Austin Collie (thumb surgery, foot) made it through Wednesday's practice without a setback.
Collie looked good, according to Caldwell, and it seems as if he has a real chance to return to the slot role this week at Philly.

Matt Hasselbeck (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Giants.

QB Matt Hasselbeck (concussion) will not play Sunday, #Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
Giants def should not be available

Rookie Zac Robinson will be elevated from the practice squad to serve as the No. 2 QB.
I believe the Giants have forced 5 QB's this year to leave the game...Not sure if even Williams is startable

Minn DEF so should have been a "bench" designation to begin with, but Hightower PPR looking like a serviceable plug

starting crayton in two leagues
After much thought (probably too much), I've benched 85 and started Crayton. I hope he has a good day. If I lose this week, I'm going to have to resign as the coach of my team.
:fingerscrossed:

Oh. I get it. I hope it works out for you because that will mean it worked out for me, too.

Good deal. My fantasy team lived and died by this feed quite a few times last year. Always had good stuff.

Definitely serious. I got Austin Collie off waivers because he was mentioned here. He dominated for the next three weeks and then I used him in a trade for Andre Johnson.
