I agree with targets dont matter if outcome is still the same. But, i doubt the outcome will be the same all year long. ill still take my chances with Cobb and his 10 catches for 70 yards rather than rolling the dice on Nelson turning 1 of his 2 catches for a TD.
Id rather have a guy that gets the most looks on a team, rather than the guy that has to turn 1 of his few catches into a TD. And its not like Cobb doesnt score TDs. Hes got 2 on the year, Nelson has 3.
And remember, Rodgers is throwing the ball. If you get more targets with a QB like Rodgers, chances are you are going to score more.
Thats all. Again, Im not saying Nelson isnt good or anything. Hes great. A top 15 WR if healthy easily. But, between Cobb and Nelson, ill take Cobb.
