Powell has the possibility of sharing carries with Mike Goodson and Chris Ivory. Just something to consider.

Is Ivory back from injury?
Powell runs well and they use him in the passing game, something that bodes well for him since the jets most likely will be playing from behind.

JJ has by far the higher ceiling, I'd risk it and go JJ.
Powell should get you 7 to 12.
JJ anywhere from 0 up 25.
Fwiw,'Powell was getting more carries even when Ivory was healthy so I'm not too worried about Ivory if he is back.

That's kind of how I view it.
I've got Charles/Rice @ RB; Welker/Colston @ WR. If Rice was acting right I'd have 0 question about running Jones out there. But if Rice goes for 2 points today, I need what seems to be Powell's sure ~10 or so. Probably flip a coin before JJ's game.

I'd roll with JJ probably if I was the op.
