You can. Especially if it's a moderately significant sprain where the tendons are pretty stretched. You're way more susceptible to rolling it again because it doesn't have the support it usually does and is a bit weaker.

Plus, playing on it will push the recovery back a good bit. Which is why I don't get why they would push Jamaal to play. All its gonna do is keep is keep Jamaal at less than 100% for a few weeks. I would rather sit him, get him near 100% and then play him. Especially since you have 1 of the best backups in the league in Knile and is more than capable of filing in for Jamaal.

Either Jamaals ankle wasnt nearly as severe as it was made out to be, or this is just a ploy by Reid and Charles sits out.
