I have the first overall pick for the first time ever

Same league for 10 years, never won it nor had first pick. 12 man league, 0.5 PPR.

So who do y’all wise fantasy gurus think I should take? Mahomes? McCaffery?
Also any early pick(s) strategies based on this roster structure and scoring would be appreciated. It’s difficult given the shear volume of players per team with the bench. It’s pretty much 3 top notch players then a crap shoot.

Cmc is the only answer unless you're in a 2qb league. shite even then maybe 1.01

I’m torn between Mahomes and CMC. And of course those are the first two responses with conviction. CMC getting injured is what tilts me towards Pat but at same time I can probably pick up a top 10 QB with 2’nd or 3rd pick knowing my league and how they draft. I just don’t want to regret/waste this being my first overall ever

Take Mahomes and put the guys in the 2 and 3 spots on tilt early. They’re both thinking they have a shot at him.

I can't tell if you're trolling or not. Do not pick mahomes first overall if you want to win. I'm serious. If you want mahomes that bad grab him in the 3rd (which is still way too early.)

The person who drafted 1st in my 12 team took Mahomes in the 3rd.
You'll probably be looking at WRs like McLaurin/Ceedee/K Allen or RBs like Carson/Montgomery (or CEH with little luck) when it gets back to you in the 2nd.

Do NOT take Mahomes. They are all trolling you. Take CMC and do t think twice. You can get almost equal value out if Josh Allen in the 3rd or Prescott in here 4th.
