How do we feel about Karlos Williams?

12 team PPR
short benches
Williams is available
Foster will be back soon, and I have Charles starting for me, but Forsett has been such a disappointment
Should I use my #2 Waiver spot to pick up Karlos Williams?
Shady will obviously be the guy in Buffalo, but Williams seems to have gained the trust of Ryan in goal-line situations.

Mccoy is struggling with a bad hammy. I think he aggravated it this past week. I'm expecting an increase in workload for Karlos, and he has already been producing pretty decently. Depending on the news I hear this week, I'll be deciding between Karlos and Melvin Gordon this next week.

Is available on your waiver wire or you're thinking of dropping him for Karlos Williams?

I think he's a good pickup. Is he worth your #2 waiver spot? Hard to say. How solid is the rest of your team? If your only weak spot is RB, then yeah. If you're struggling at WR too, maybe hold on to it. Hard to say without your whole roster.

I can see how that was ambiguous. I will be deciding between one of the two to start this next week, assuming arian finally makes his way back.

I need to decide between Williams and Dunbar in a PPR. And who to drop out of Vereen and Spiller.

I've got Keenan Allen and Calvin Johnson starting at WR
i've got John Brown in the Flex until Foster returns
That will leave me with
RB1: Charles
RB2: Foster
WR1: Megatron
WR2: Allen
Flex: John Brown/ Forsett/ Karlos Williams??/ Reshad Jennings/ Terrence Williams

I feel like he won't average a TD every game this season. He's the bruiser in a offense that relies on the run. McCoy will get his touches in close games.
Williams value will only increase if McCoy is inactive or limited. Part of this one was the game wasn't close the majority of it and that gave Williams a lot of time
Majority of people are forgetting McCoys Week 2 performance against the Pats which he looked pretty solid. I will say McCoy will need to break a 10+ yarder to score because it's Williams/Dixon inside the 5

They are talking about Mccoy resting. Karlos has value in the immediate future. Depending on how things play out he's a solid start this week.

BOLD PREDICTION

Giants have the 2nd best defense against fantasy backs so far (Dal, ATL & WASH). I wouldn't say it's a solid start. Maybe RB2/FLEX at best if McCoy is inactive. If McCoy is active he's TD dependent

Karlos WITH CONFIDENCE.
Picked him up and started him instead of Doug Martin yesterday
ETA: 7.75 YPC w/ 2 td's after 3 games. Not a solid flex play at all if primary goes down. (Sarcasm)

He would be the by far primary back for the team. There aren't many of those. A rb2 or flex is a solid start.

Tader literally comes on here just to jerk off to my post. It's starting to become a bit creepy

So you're saying he won't score 16 TDs on the season?
Son of a bitch

Yeah I agree if McCoys inactive you can make Williams an RB2/FLEX. Id just temper my expectations against the Giants run defense. Dixon has vultures some goalline touches as well.
There's no indication that McCoy will be out this week, only speculation started by reporters because he didn't play much in the 2nd half of a blowout

Karlos Williams!!!
I've been having him since week 1, knew his opportunity was coming this year...was worth the stash, he's been outplaying shady and if he gets a full workload it's only upside after that...

I'm in a similar situation, 12 team PPR and i have the #1 waiver spot.
I don't need much help at RB with AP, L. Murray, Hyde, Yeldon, Powell but was wondering if I should snatch up Williams and use him in a trade for a good WR where I do need help. The best FA on the wire is Marvin Jones.

Well, I had him in two leagues. Dropped him in one to add fjax, mainly just to prevent the lynch owner from grabbing him. Though McCoy would be back.
Now I will likely use my first waiver position to pick him back up.

FWIW Karlos Williams has minimal value as a PPR back. His two catches came in the back end of the Patriots game when it was already over. McCoy has look good catching the ball so far.
