10 team...standard scoring...standard lineup...2 keeper league where it counts as the previous years round the player was drafted in

My team is stacked minus the QB position and a guy just put Brees on the block. Big buy low opportunity.

My team
QB: Ryan, Foles
RB: Demarco, Ellington, Mckinnon, Hillman, Crowell
WR: DT88, Julio, Michael Floyd, Crabtree, Gordon, Harvin
TE: Gronk

His Squad
QB: Wilson, Brees
RB: Foster, Sjax, Jennings, Knile, West
WR: Andre Johnson, Edelman, Boldin, Torrey Smith,
TE: Julius Thomas, Daniels

So I want Brees and want to give him Ryan in return as for sure pieces of the trade. He claims he needs a rb but he could use a receiver as well.

So what is yalls suggestion to get the trade done?

Depends on what he thinks the value of these players are. Just ask him who he wants or offer him a trade. I don't think this board can be much help to you with this.

this.

I was sitting here wanting to give some advice and just couldnt come up with a good solution. Its hard to guess on trades without knowing the type of person someone is and all.

Figure out what you think Brees is worth then ask us and im sure youll get answers. But people cant build the trade for you

Try McKinnon first, Hillman, then ellington. All 3 would start for him. The QB combo may not work as he will be starting Wilson ROS with his bye week done.

Hillman + one of your WR.

Decided I am going to offer Hillman and Ryan for Brees. Mckinnon has better keeper value IMO and while I understand Ball has been bad when healthy this year it is still a more crowded backfield then the Vikings.

Thoughts on if acquiring Brees for Hillman and Ryan would improve my team or should I stay put? Im tied for first in my division at 5-2

If I was him, I would want Hillman/McKinnon and one of your receivers - probably Floyd. Maybe Gordon if my record was good and I could afford to wait a few weeks for payoff.

It would improve your team because of Atlanta's team issues (OL and such). You won't have room in your starting lineup for the players you trade anyway.

My initial assessment of his team was that he needed WR help more than RB. I think Brees for Ellington and Ryan would work well for you. I think Hillman is a solid RB2 going forward and if you play a flex, you'll likely want to play Gordon there in a couple weeks anyway.

I think it dramatically improves your team if he accepts it. Hillman would make a great flex play, but you have McKinnon to hold that spot until Gordon is back so you're still ok there, and obviously its a huge upgrade at QB.
