Ok, instead of just being a dick, I'm going to give you some advice: there is this great resource for sports, and fantasy, information. It's called ESPN. If you click the following link:

LINK

It will bring you to ESPN's consensus RB rankings. There, you will find Williams at 6, Stewart at 9, McFadden at 11, and Spiller way the frick down at 27.

Now, one might argue that simply following ESPN's rankings is a shite way to manage a team, and I might be inclined to agree. However, were one inclined to argue that, they probably wouldn't be desperately posting on a message board asking strangers who to start.

What a bunch of bitches on this board. If espn rankings worked to successfully run a team then there would never be a question about who to start or who to sit. I already set my lineup with spiller sitting but was just looking for an outside perspective.

Not sure why Joshjrn is acting like a bitch. People come on this site every weekend with start/sit questions.

Anyone can check ESPN's 'expert' rankings. Maybe OP wanted a different perspective.

I think from a rankings view, then Spiller would be the obvious sit candidate. But that doesn't take into account that one very important player in front of him was injured last weekend. I think the other 3 backs you have should all be the #1 backs for their teams today, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Spiller outscore Williams and/or McFadden.

Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking. I was more concerned with Stewart's match up against a packers d that was embarrassed last week by denver.

I'm being a bitch because it was a stupid question, and stupid questions clog up this board. There's a sticky *points up* for stupid start/sit questions.

Manage your own team. However, if you don't want to manage your own team, ESPN offers five people whose entire job is to research fantasy football. If you aren't inclined to make your own decisions, go listen to them.

It's annoying that this board becomes utterly useless with an onslaught of special snowflakes who don't want to make their own decision. This thread was just particularly stupid among them, so I picked it as an outlet

I posted a question in the sticky thread above 2 hours ago and it is still unanswered. frick the sticky thread.

Not really an attack on you, but a fellow poster asked a simple question and you kind of attack him for it.

Are we now considering ESPN 'experts' as the end all because they are paid? It's a game. Dude asked a question. Help him out or don't take the time to respond.

Of course they aren't. That doesn't change the fact that any information a poster on this board uses to make a decision has likely been filtered through one of those aforementioned experts. Does that mean I always follow them? Of course not. For example, I am firmly out of the "start your stud even if he's injured" camp. They have to say that nonsense so people won't yell at them if the stud blows up, but I've been playing long enough, and have had enough zero points games from it, to much prefer start a healthy WR2 over a gimpy WR1. But that's personal preference. Someone else might prefer the upside and can tolerate the risk.

But again, that's personal preference. I genuinely don't understand why people post start/sit threads unless they have some kind of bizarre scoring system. Now, if you want to post your explanation of why you're leaning a certain way, we can help with that acting as a sounding board. But just posting your roster and asking random people to set your lineup for you? frick off.

ETA: And again, it generally pisses me off because it clutters the board and makes threads that are useful to more than the one special snowflake difficult to find/keep going.

CJ Spiller should only be used if you have no runningbacks or FLEX
