I've got the same decision in a PPR. Waiting to hear inactives and any other comments on expected usage for Jones. Probably roll with him. But Hasty's matchup is juicy

Jones is active. If it were me I would start him over the 4th string RB for SF.

Yep agreed. 4th string RB with no receivers or QB

Mostert and Jeff Wilson were 4th string RBs

The report was that Jones wouldn't be activated unless he was 100% and Hasty hasn't had a double digit fantasy game yet. He could always outscore Jones. We've seen it happen before, but the decision seems easy to me based on what we know. At least what we think we know.

If he was 100%, he would not be declared active two hours before kickoff I imagine.

Hasty scored a 10 burger last week in limited action. He’s never been a part of the backfield with less than 3 options yet. GB traveling two time zones on a short week, worst run D in league vs a team that will run early and often

There will be plenty more weeks to play Jones in confidence. I’d hate to start a fantasy week where a guy leaves early when I have another viable option but that’s me

Just posted this in the other thread....
quote:

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported earlier Thursday that should Jones play, he will serve in a role that is "nowhere near a normal role for him."

I hadn't seen this. I think this changes my mind to Hasty.

Reluctantly swaying towards starting Hasty over Jones. I'll hate myself later when Jones lights it up

If his role is going to be limited, Jones faces the tougher matchup and logic would suggest that GB should win the game so that may limit his role even more if GB goes up early. They won't play him if they've got a healthy lead.

Hasty must've pissed off Shanahan in the locker room pre-game.

Shanny RBs are too hard to predict. None of the experts can get it right, much less TD.com.

Hasty played 14 snaps

I would blame game script but it appeared McKinnon was in line for the bulk, after Hasty out carried him last week

frick every one of SF RBS. All reports said Hasty was going to be the lead back this week. Like you said, 14 snaps.
