Guy running the league is cheating!

So the guy running our league is cheating. His starting QB had a bye last week and his bench QB was on the bench when the thursday game started (Matt Ryan). Not catching this mistake he traded Philip Rivers (his starter) for Tom Brady to his wife since Ryan's game already started. So that let him have a starting QB that week since he made a mistake. Right now we are tied for first we play each other this week and last night he traded his wife Matt Ryan for Philip Rivers to start Rivers this week. Sucks to be this deep in the season and have this crap going on. Feels like a waste of a season. I just hope my team can beat him now this week.

Yeah I am. I have called him out. He said but I would have had no QB that week. I said that is why you watch your team and that is what free agency is for, we all have to use it. His son is in the league and he is calling him out as well. Matt Ryan for Philip Rivers is ridiculous. What is funny is his wife had Vick on the bench so I offered Kyle Orton and she rejects it and in the same week sends him Tom Brady for Matt Ryan only to admit she was just doing it for one week.

ryans and brady's numbers were about the same right last week right?
made the trade before the game, started the traded player.
this week he traded back for his normal qb (all about the same range of player)
Your issue is that you counted your chickens before the eggs were hatched. You saw that he didn't put Ryan in the Early game and started celebrating.... And get pissed when he makes a move to fix it?
You only have a case if his wife started an unstartable QB.

His wife had a bye week that week so really all she loses out on is points, but she is in last place so in no position to catch anyone. She went to start Vick once the trade happened. However, there is a good complaint. There should not be rent-a-player trades going on like this. I did not play him last week. I think it is crap he screwed up and did not account for the Thursday game, his bench QB was already playing so he trades his bye week QB who was starting for him (Rivers) for Brady who will give him way more points then the zero he deserved for the mistake. Like I said I would not have been pissed if he just grabbed one in free agency even. But to pick up one of the six leading QBs in our league for one week and then trade back to pick up one of the top 2 QBs in our league is straight cheating. Especially when you cherry pick from the worst team in the league who happens to be your wife.

Here is the problem with that. Matt Ryan already started his game so really it is hard to make the arguement that him and Tom Brady was comparable. Because Ryan started and he was on the bench the points are lost. Just like we all have experienced leaving a guy on a bench who has a great game. Now his problem becomes Rivers is starting with a bye. If it was not his wife nobody is trading him Rivers back. So he should have gone free agency and just dropped some player from there and grabbed a week rental QB from free agency. Probably would not have been a player comparable to Brady or Ryan but we all do it because that is how the league works.

Ryan has been coming up, and Brady has been shite since randy left. If team b had a better starter running (ie Vick), and then wanted to dump Brady as a back-up(who had been sucking) for Ryan "on fire"

Ryan already started his game so you are comoparing apples and oranges at this point. He was not the trade because he already started on his bench. He traded Rivers who was on a bye for Tom Brady. He grabbed a top 6 fantasy QB for someone who had no game. Only to trade the following week Ryan who is like 11th or 12th in the league for #2 Rivers to come back to him. You are the first person to make an arguement for him. His own kids say he is cheating.

Protest the Rivers for Ryan trade. I have no problem with the Rivers for Brady trade.

well you can't really do shite about it since it's all friends(wives/sons), and what you are really saying is that you just wanted him to have to start a FA over Brady last week, because he forgot that ATL played thursday, right?
what was his score last week and what did the team he play score? is it the difference between what Tom Brady scored and what Kitna,Gerrard,Cutler, Sanchez...scored? Dunno who's a FA in your league.
No permanent damage, and the move wasn't collusive in a "I give you this guy to help you beat that guy".
It was a "aww frick, ryan played thursday? shite."

Oh it wont put a strain on the relationship at all. He actually coached his older son and me in baseball and I later coached his younger son in baseball. I am sure if it happen to you in your league you would be bugged by it. This late in the year, tied for first and you start pulling bogus moves and run the league. Like I said you are the first of many to take his side.

Haha so it looks like our game will come down to Rivers on Monday night football. And his bench QB is Vince Young who only got 6 points.
