Rondo picked Yoan up less than 1 hour after I dropped him

Guess the waiver process needs to be fixed

So what's the deal with Moncada? Is he just in the FA pool this year and can't be added because he wasn't on the Sox until after our draft?

That's less than an hour between drop and add. I assume because the waiver wire order is based on season rankings that it wont start until the season begins, thus making this first offseason a first come, first serve free for all without waivers. I'm ok with that, it just isn't something I thought about beforehand until I saw this go down last night.

I'm guessing that Fantrax has it set up to where if i guy is added and then dropped before hes played a game, that hes just entered back into the FA pool without going through waivers.

This is a method designed to prevent someone from adding and dropping a bunch of guys in an effort prevent others from making key adds to their roster.

Cubs need to keep him in minors for 10 games. Can't have hitting FA a yearly early.

Ensuring I don't face him in 2015 :nana;

I dont think Bauer has ever thrown with a 78% strike rate in warm-ups before, so this is big news to me.

ST (especially early ST) is akin to throwing BP. Pitchers are just trying to build arm strength.

Unsolicited, two scouts who follow the Red Sox offered an opinion on Tuesday that the notion of a Red Sox team that doesn’t feature Betts on Opening Day is little short of unfathomable.
