The problem you've got with Duda is that I only see one team that would really benefit from adding someone like him to their starting lineup, and that's Swamie. You are better off hanging on to him as a bench option until he proves that he's a valid 1B option for these contending teams and/or said teams suffer some injuries and need a replacement bat in their lineup.

Cant imagine moving Cole at this point. Pitching is apparently highly sought after, but the offers just aren't strong enough to justify moving him.

That homer number may be low. He's hitting right in front of Votto, so he's gonna get pitches to hit. Another reason why he won't walk much.

just reminds me of billy hamilton. managed to be able to hit his way on base in the minors, never really walked. Well Peraza even walks less than Billy Hamilton. Granted he puts the ball in play more.
But he literally never walks. He'll likely have a sub 5 BB% and when you start looking at the OBP of guys in that range,

Keep in mind that Hamilton never had the luxury of hitting directly in front of Votto and like you said, Peraza is a better hitter than Hamilton. Peraza had a large enough sample size to tell me that he will be a serviceable player. And again, 2B will be Herreras eventually, just not until Peraza moves to SS.

The good news for me is that I have Peraza penciled in as a bench guy for me in two years when I make my run.
