I'm all for it (in the future) if we have a viable alternative.

We didn't really have one presented when the league was created. No one wanted to separate HD and SV... and I hate the idea of factoring BS into the equation. So... what were the choices? Something seemingly random like wild pitches or hit batters... something already factored into ERA and WHIP like HR allowed?

I think FIP is a decent alternative, no one thought about that one when the league was created.

No one wants Porcello, chief.

I was just looking at it, and if the season goes like the rankings did yesterday, my picks next year will be
1.2
1.6
1.12

I figure Meadows and Brinson get moved up, and then we get the extra slot next offseason, so I'll have room for at least three spots. Should be able to move the other two without issue.

TBD earl. Last year as SP in MILB was in 2012: 20 starts in AA/AAA, 2.97 ERA, 1.1 WHIP, 8.6 K/9.

Still young, not a lot of mileage on the tires.

Yeah, because those preseason projections seem spot on.

They werent that far off the first two years. A couple of outliers, but not really. I had you at 10th last year and you finished 8th? Considering it was a three way race for the final spot, i'd say you barely missed not being 10th.

So eat it, frickface.
