Minn has three key players on D out this week - S, LB and DT...Seattle is findings its bearings on D. I have Buck Allen and am sitting him this week.

My personal opinion is play Fitz.

Fitz has at least 8 catches in 5 straight games, gets 5'8" captain munnerlyn in the slot this week. On top of the min injuries.

Outside of Deangelo no one has done shite vs Seattle. Claussen likeky starting too. Will be a bloodbath

I don't like the matchup at all but DeAngelo got his points in the receiving game. Allen could be getting a lot of dumpoffs.

Jonathan Stewart had an good fantasy day against Seattle.

Those things being said, I would start Larry Fitz.

PIT has the 2nd best offense in the league, Rothlisberger hung 456 on them and they ran predominantly 3 WR sets. They spread out SEA and they couldnt stack the box

Seattle is 2nd in yards allowed and 3rd in points against. Against Clausen/Schaub, no WR game, struggling OL. Im sure he will catch a few dump offs, naturally.

Sure, looks good on paper. He had two TDs runs from the 1 yard line. 3.9 per carry on 20 totes, long of 11. Top 3 run team in the league

But that's exactly what fantasy football is.

I agreed with you, I would play Fitzgerald.

ETA: I also already said that I don't like the matchup for Allen with Seattle at all as well.

lol

not sure why you were trying to undermine the point, then?

there is the process
and there is the results

sometimes they dont match up - two, 1 yard TD runs by Jon Stewart does not mean SEA run D is all of a sudden vulnerable.

Falcon fullback Patrick Demarco caught 2 TD passes against Indy a few weeks ago, doesnt mean fullbacks are now a must start vs Indy. cmon

Lol, c'mon dude - I didn't say anything of the sort.

You said "Williams is the only guy who has done sh*t against Seattle."

I simply pointed out that a lot of his work was done through the passing game. And then I pointed out that Stewart had a good fantasy game against Seattle, but I don't like the Allen/Baltimore matchup with Seattle either.

I was just stating facts so the OP could make a decision on his own, man.

I appreciate reading your insights on here but you get defensive awfully fast.

hey baw, this ain't about me. This is about thelegendcoach, who brought his lineup situation to the board.. One he admittedly was having a tough time with. The guy is looking to lean on his fantasy bretheren here

So here we are trying to convince thelegendcoach that Larry Fitzpatrick has been eating and has a favorable matchup against a banged up D and a DB who he has 5" on

I'm glad you agree that Fitzgerald is the better play, but then you want to address my point about how well SEA run D is by mentioning Dwill and Stewart's successes. At this point in time, thelegendcoach, who is already conflicted, starts to think Buck Allen may just be the play.. He's coming off 16, 18, and 35 point games. This is when I felt the need to come in and clarify your points about those two RBs, so that thelegendcoach can make his lineup decision without second guessing that he made the right call. Which then prompted me to question why you were undermining the decision to start Fitz when you agreed?

In this instance, it appears you have misinterpreted my tone and intentions. I wish you and thelegendcoach luck the rest of this season

Is that possible? Lol

It's all good...appreciate the discussions. I like seeing your points of view.

Thanks for all the help guys! Gonna roll with Fitz and hope for the best. Damn Ingram injury was crucial to me.

I can't do that. I got D. Williams and Rawls in my 2 rb spots. With AJ Green and Calvin Johnson in my 2 wr spots. We have two flex spots and I have Forte and now Fitz filling those. So looks like Allen going to waste away on my bench!!
