They're all good, but I don't think Miller is obviously better than any of those guys.

Same answer. He has two pitches. He has an exploding FB and a hook. I'll take a guy with an exploding fastball and a plus change over that.

Miller has 200 innings above A ball and a spot in the rotation. Yeah, he's a better fantasy option than just about any pitching prospect out there.

And 70 of those innings were absolute shite last year. And I thought we were talking about long term. In redraft leagues the guy in MLB is obviously a better target.

If Gausman keeps progressing with his breaking ball and maintains decent command, he is my favorite arm in the minors. Division and park will do him no favors however

Wheeler is my other big one

I like both as well. Feels like Bundy has the highest ceiling of all of them, but the others are more likely of reaching their ceiling at this point.

I thought he was talking about this year only, if it's a keeper league I can see Bundy. But Bundy only pitched 100 innings last year, so he probably gets 140 max this year? So unless he dominates and is up by June or so he probably never gets a spot in Baltimore's rotation.

I wouldn't consider Miller's year last year shite. His K and walk numbers were fine, he just gave up a ton of homers compared to his normal rate.

Miller and Teheran used to carry the same "minor league mystique" that guys like Gausman do now. People are intrigued by the next big thing. Bundy was the same way last year. Now that Bundy is close, his Paul Bunyan status has worn off adnd it's Gausman who is becoming this talked up prospect.

Garrit Cole is going to own the bigs come June.

No one has built Gausman up to anything as far as fantasy goes this year; I'm the first person to even mention him on this board I'd bet. I'm just saying that I don't think it is the foregone conclusion many envision that Bundy will definitely be the first Oriole arm up.

I'm more in line with barry in regards to Bundy's value in a redraft league. I think you can get a bigger impact out of quite a few prospects (Wheeler & Yelich in particular) while getting them later in the draft.

Gausman has been getting a lot of love all spring on twitter

I like cole but it sounds like his fastball is flat?

Last scouting report I read on Cole was his fastball straightened out at the higher velocity (99-100). He's working on a 2 seamer that sinks and runs at 94-95.

His slider is the $$ pitch.

Gotcha. I am talking more from the redraft fantasy perspective; I'm not advocating picking Gausman... just playing devil's advocate and tempering expectations for Bundy.

Throws unreal heat but struggles to get it by people at times. Some time the ball explodes out of his hand, and he can just blow the ball past guys even sitting in the lower half of the strike zone.

I'm still pissed that LSU got stuck in the same regional with UC-Irvine and a team with Cole & Bauer as a 1-2.

I haven't seen one prospect list that has Gauseman over Bundy.

like Gyno said, its mostly hype now.

People seeing Gausman throw against MLB'ers, thus breaking him on to the scene.

id bet a ton of money Bundy is up first, unless injury says otherwise.
