On his radio show Stephen Jones says DeMarco Murray has a broken bone in his hand and will need surgery - hopes he can play vs Colts.

I have Murray and I am in the ship

And this is who Stephen Jones is

Mother of God no!!!! I already had to make it through the season with no Peterson. This would suck nuts to lose Murray in the title game.

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray will have surgery Monday to repair a broken bone in his hand, team executive vice president Stephen Jones said.

DeMarco Murray, hurt during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, will have hand surgery on Monday. Murray, however, has not been ruled out for this week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Oh shite.

Others have dealt with the same or similar injuries. (Emmitt) Smith missed one game in 1999 after undergoing the surgery following a 13-carry, 140-yard and two-touchdown game against the Minnesota Vikings. He had two straight 100-yard games after his return. In 2006, Terrell Owens suffered a similar injury while with the Cowboys. He had a plate and screws implanted into his hand and did not miss a game, thanks to the Cowboys' bye week. He wore a glove with extra padding on the top of his hand for added protection. In 2011, Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee missed one game with the injury.

Because Murray carries the ball predominantly in his right hand, it might not be much of an issue, but he has lost five fumbles on the season.

Emmitt Smith once had a similiar surgey and missed 1 game. They are hoping if the surgey goes as planned to put on a certain padding to allow Murray to still carry the ball.

I'm dropping Sankey but I'm not sure if I should pick up Asiata or Randle. Randle looked pretty good on his 15+ yard run last night. I would imagine he is next up.

Surprised it took 15 games for him to finally get injured

I am starting Randle in the flex in next week's championship game and I don't even own Murray

Well this blows....I have Randle though.

Murray owners should definitely already have Randle.

I have Charles, Murray, J. Bell & Jennings so this sucks but I have decent options to plug in.

My league was actually tough as shite I went all RB though. Took Forte with the 4th pick, took Murray in my second round. Bell in the 4th round, and Hill in the 6th. My problem this year is deciding between Hill and Bell. I almost always make the wrong decision

I wouldnt be overly panicked, except the guy I'm playing in the title game has L Bell. I have Ingram and Hill, but Bell and Murray are headline game changers.

ETA: Mildly encouraging to hear about TY because my opponent also has him.
