No problem. Everything is already taken care of. New owner is already signed up, and I'm working on him signing up to TD.

I'm good with whatever. Will new owner immediately take control or are we waiting to finish once through the league's schedule?

I'm assuming since we would like the new guy to play for a while that we will let him start managing immediately. It sucks for the people who didn't get to play the MSU-less MSU team, but I think this is probably the best way to keep the owner long term.

LouT - I say that to make things fair, the new guy should upgrade one player from our teams since we didn't get to take advantage.

I say immediately. And he wants to immediately.

The team has some good players and is only 10 games out of a playoff spot with more than half the season to go

We should strive for this league to be as competitive as possible. That's just my view

Don't think it would be fair to make the new guy take his lumps for the next 4-6 weeks. Not like MSU really got his doors blown off the last 6 weeks or so. I could see if he was getting 9-1'd, 8-2'd every week but nah

Sort of a lost cause at this point

I'm good with whatever ruling as long as it happens swiftly.

ETA: Just saw the new owner is already in. Proceed

+1

I am doing some house cleaning this morning...anyone interested in Orlando Arcia, Tyson Ross or Garrett Richards? All can be had for cheaps - just looking for draft picks. Arcia the #1 SS prospect (top 10 overall prospect) expected to be called up this season. Ross & Richards are both keeper quality SPs when healthy and both are expected back this season.

I'd trade the SPs away for back-half picks considering the risk in taking them.

What's up league? Thanks for adding me, hopefully I'll be taking your $$ in a season or so.

Team's not in terrible shape right now, hearing offers!

Looks like you need your keeper SS of the future. Orlando Arcia is available for cheap. Only want a draft pick...not even a very high one.

DD traded Stephen Strasburg, Wsh SP to BoM

I don't vote to veto many trades but this might qualify
