Well the Christine Michael train, which derailed earlier in the year is starting to build up steam again. Is it going to crash or keep going?

There are reports out of cowboy camp that he is getting some first team reps.

I am siting with David Johnson on my bench seeing if he starts picking up carries, but perhaps a better play would be dropping him and picking up Christine Michael while I still can.

What does everyone here feel?

McFadden and Randle just combined for four rushing TDs, how is it picking up steam?

False.

The #1 RB just had over 100 yards and 3 TDs (no fumbles)

The #2 (or 3) RB also had 10 receptions for 100 yards (no fumbles).

The loss to ATL wasn't because of the running backs.

He got reps in practice because, you know that Randle guy, well he needed a little rest this week after what he did to the Falcons

Randle rushed for -2 yds in the second half. The Michael hype is real. Dallas wants and needs a more physical back to wear down defenses. Randle is not that. Randle is better suited for the COP role he had last year. He broke off 3 long runs to start the game and then nothing. Atl stacked the box and Randle danced around.

They are going to suit up Michael and use him for short yardage at least.

Randle did good in the 1st half vs the Falcons and not so much the 2nd half.

DM is a shell of his former self and is just gonna be a back up. Whether or not CM will become the starter is hard to tell.

When is he expected to return and what was it that sidelined this this long (injury? depth chart? ETC?)?

The reason the Seahawks traded Michael away was because an UDFA Rawls was better. That tells me he's not very good.

But the real reason Michael got reps was like I said before, the other RBs were getting rest on Wednesday which is usually a rest day for veterans anyway

I think there's potential here. Dunbar is strictly a pass catcher, and Randle and McFadden are not suited for short yardage.

I'm not saying you should go crazy to grab him, but I think he's well worth rostering.

“They all got their own strengths I think,” offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said. “His is size. Very explosive back. I think he might be a guy that can be utilized when you’re going against some of those big boy boxes. His running style and his run training is real similar the run game system to what they had in Seattle. I think that’s going to help move along in our offense as well.

Dropped Doug Martin in 2 leagues to grab him. Nothing to lose really.. worth a flier.
