Kaepernick without a doubt. The Jags schedule is brutal rest of the way.

That's what I was thinking as well. Not sure if I trust Kaep yet. He has put up good points but Bortles, even as terrible as he has looked in the 1st half of games, seems to have a floor of about 17-18 points.

Bortles is not even getting consistent garbage points in garbage time he is just straight garbage.

Kap has only been outscored since becoming the starter at QB by Aaron Rodgers and has a much more favorable playoff schedule.

If you don't trust Kaep yet then you never will and what is actually happening in reality can have no effect on you. He has been consistent as a fantasy start since he came back for the 49ers.

Kaep is averaging right over 60 yards rushing per game. That's essentially a built in TD every week. He's also going to throw it close to 40 times

Both are crappy QBs who have been better for fantasy purposes, so you may as well go with the less crappy option in Kaep.

Matthew Berry was talking about it on his podcast and broke it down pretty well.

He is in a fantasy situation where he can only produce numbers. Not good QB play but fantasy numbers.

Either the 49ers suck/get blown out and he puts up garbage stats all game against lax coverages, or the team is competitive and he puts up solid stats period.

He is a dual threat which always favors fantasy scoring.(Cam, Rookie RG3, Old Vick)

and he is playing for a new NFL contract. I mean any factor you take into consideration makes him either your starter or someone to hoard from other players in your league.

I would let a team try to beat me with Bortles. I would not let my competition just have a guy who on any given sunday can put up the top fantasy production at his position.
