Bell owners... what's the play?

Hold on to him? Try to dump him for a mid-2nd round RB/WR? Mid-3rd round? (I don't see it being worth trading him for anything lower than that.)

I got J Samuels because of his yahoo designation RB/TE
My league is 1 point per 5 yards rushing, so I’m able to start an extra running back in my tight end slot with samuels.

if you have conner I'd sit tight...best case would be if Bell were to be traded, now you've got two starting backs

I'm a little less optimistic about him returning soon, Lester. Seems like he's pretty dug in to me. I have Connor though and I think he's going to be a lot better than people around here seem to think. Best case scenario is that Bell gets traded, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I agree with that too about the OL. There's no telling where this thing goes. I'm just glad I was able to get Connor of waivers even though I had to drop Aaron Jones to do so. I'm hoping to be able to put Bell on IR and pick Jones back up and stash him too. I like his upside in the back half of the season.

Hold him unless your desperate for RB help. He has to play this year to be a FA next season. So, you could be looking at a healthy fresh Bell for your playoff push and playoff run.

You could possibly get a WR 2 or low end WR1 if the person is desperate at RB

Ian Rapaport reported on NFL network that it is "expected" Bell will report on Saturday, but then tweets that's mostly speculation and there's no solid indication supporting it
But either way, I think Saturday we'll have an answer. That's his last day to report and get his check for this week (and he gets the bonus of not having to play Sunday). Either he shows, or I think we need to assume he's digging in for 10 weeks. I can't think of why he'd blow off a chance to get a check this week and then show up on Monday.
So if you're a Bell owner or targeting the Bell owner, start placing your bets.

depends on ur RB situation.
i have peyton barber i'm gonna use in Bells spot and James White or Bilal Powell i may spot start if needed.
i'm not buying the hype that Conner is just gonna be the sole guy there. also the schedule isnt great to start the season (@Cle, KC, and Baltimore in first 4 weeks). it'd be hard for me to give up much for Conner unless i thought he was gonna outscore guys i have already consistently. i feel like having him would just give me more of a headache and i definitely wouldnt start him vs the Browns after how Bell/Conner played @cleveland to start last year

Im only putting in $14 faab for conner in my league as bell owner. If i win it ill need to pick up a kicker but im sure someone bid at least 30. I just don't see me being confident enough to start him on a week to week basis even if i had him on roster. My league is 1 wr 1 rb 2 flex tho because of 16 teams

KC is going to be realllly bad on defense this year. I'd say the only tough first 4 matchup is Baltimore with Cleveland being meh and the other two very cush (TB & KC).
And of course Bell averaged like 36 against Baltimore last season.
