Had a conversation with a few league mates about it because we don't really have anyone like that in our league.

I mean, a guy that consistently owns the draft, kills it during the season, and makes it to or wins it all every year. How does it feel from the outside? Any thoughts on the matter?

my uncle dominated our league for a while. Champion first year, Runner up second year, Champion 3rd year. Then.....last place He bought some land and rented a tractor and wanted to get his money's worth, so he drafted while on the tractor

it prob just means you play in a strong league. For instance in my big money league, we've had a different winner in each of the first 7 seasons. It's only a 12 man league.

I was in a money league with some guys that I worked with/went to college with and some of their friends.

I won 3 years in a row, got 2nd, got 3rd, and then won 2 more years in a row.

I wasn't asked to play anymore after that but that league folded 2 years ago.

Won a playoff game 1 year with Ron dayne

I consistently make the playoffs, but can't win a title. I'm the Bengals.

Now, if I draft for you that's another story.

Drafted for a friend in 2014... Championship. Great draft.

Drafted for a girl last year who had no clue what she was doing, and ran her team. She went 14-0. I'll never top that draft. AP, Odell, Green, A Rob, Landry, Woodhead, Jstew. Picked up Barnidge for her on Waivers, flipped Landry and someone else for Johnson (Arizona). She dominated. I think I should be able to claim a championship because of this tbh

I am the Buffalo Bills of our league. Dominate draft, usually win most or second most games during season and I get beat in the playoffs by 5 or less points every year. Have been in league 4 years, 2 2nd place finishes, and 2 3rds. Here's to getting over the hump this year.

95% of players will fall within that 2 standard deviations on the bell curve. Meaning there won't be a huge amount of difference in those players. Once you get in the top 5% is where you find the elite players who consistently win and go deep in playoffs in leagues.

Subtle brag...

I've won my 12 team ppr Dynasty 3 times in the past 7 years. I think it's simply because of my philosophy, that some here should listen to. People are obsessed with youth and WRs.. I've taken advantage of people giving up on VERY good ball players before they are out of their prime. I focus on the NOW, and try my best to have some youth in the pipeline.

Foster, Marshall, Fitz... Guys I've gotten for next to nothing over the past years. I'll probably be acquiring AP for Fuller + Hurns.. I'll take the win this year if I have to be shite for next 2.

We had a guy who, somehow, would always get great trades and a good late round pick in the draft. He won the league twice in our 6 years and has been in the playoffs just about every year. We called him the Debil and say he Debil'd people in trade deals. The thing is, his trade deals were never bilateral, they would be among 3 or 4 people who didn't know that other trades were occurring. Luckily, his draft was terrible this year.

I've only been in 5 leagues in the past 6 or 7 years. I've won two, got second once and third once

This is my 5th time doing it

I may not be the most experienced fantasy player I just watch a lot more football and read about more than a lot of the people I play with

I also do the research before the draft and during the season

Last season in one league i went zero RB.

Ended up with Brady, Freeman, (matchups for rb2 and eventually got hightower), A Brown, B Marshall, A Jeffery, Gronk, panthers D/ST.

Went 14-0 and won every game by at least 20-30.

Got blown out in the semifinals. Ran into cam, johnson, delane walker. The week they all went off. Typical patriots players
