Someone just dropped him. Timeline is unclear to return. Sounds like mid December. Playoffs start dec7. Wouldn't trust him the first week back. And his o line now sucks

He still won't be anywhere near game shape his first couple games back, if he comes back this year at all.

Right. If he isn't playing, he isn't in game shape. Even if he runs 20 miles a day after he's cleared, he still won't be in game shape. Think about how Le'Veon Bell started the year after his hold out. He wasn't even injured. DJ isn't just going to show up his first game back and be the same.

Bell missed a first part of last season and looked great when he came back... problem in Pitt isn’t bell.
