Has there ever been more of a "sure thing" as 1st overall pick, or just in general, in recent years?
Stats are ridiculous and have been consistent for three seasons now. Didn't take that much of a dive when Ben got hurt. Can do, and does, just about everything on the field. And he doesn't get hurt.
I know there's no such thing as a true "sure thing" in preseason. But, man, this guy should set just about the highest confidence level for anyone in a position to pick him that I can recall.

i mean, last year he and Adrian Peterson were 1/2. Both gave a great return on investment.
so you're going back like 1 year

Shaun Alexander and LT were guarantees for a nice stretch
