Am I crazy for thinking of not starting Demarco Murray tonight?

I'm down 23 in a PPR league.

I have Julio and Murray left, opponent has Boldin and SF kicker.

I'm gonna need 40+ to have a shot. On my bench I have Charles Johnson and Agholor who I could sub in for Murray at flex. Obviously, they're riskier plays, but I think they have higher ceilings. I'm worried that Murray will split a lot of carries and he won't be featured in the passing game. Johnson or Agholor are high upside guys who could see a lot of targets. I think there's a better chance one of them has a 7/80/1 TD game than Demarco gets 100+ and a TD.

Exactly, of course in a one game scenario nobody who knows will score a couple td's and score higher. But it has been shown if you keep jumping around and not start your best players you will lose more.

The way this week has gone you're better off starting Kenjon Barner. Fricking weird opening weekend.

Why on earth would you think the WR3 has a higher upside than the RB1 in a Chip Kelly offense

i dont think they paid Murray 40mil to totally split carries with him

even so, they run the most plays of any team in the NFL. 18-20 touches is what he should get, if not more.

you should definitely flip a coin and start one of these two. Probably Agholor, since he's a rookie.
