In this league, we have always used a 1,400 IP limit for our pitchers. I don't know how, but the limit dropped to 1,357 IP? (Of course, this excludes 2020 where I had to prorate it for 60 games, and then I restored back to 1,400 for 2021).

Luckily, I can use the League Manager tools to correct this and reset back to 1,400 IP because that is what we all planned for during the draft.

I have also put this exact same message out via email. Please let me know if you have any issues with this, and I am really sorry to make this sort of minor adjustments after the draft occurred.

I thought the prorated limits looked weird yesterday, but I figured the Seoul series messed it somehow. Honestly, I’m just glad it was caught right away and not in September.

This might be a dumb question. But what’s the penalty if you go over max pitched innings?

No penalty. The day after you hit the max, ESPN locks your pitching slots and you cannot accrue any more stats

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they were not added. I don’t understand why not based on the one article I found.

I would have gotten a Machado Homer and Robert Suarez save.

You can check your innings pitched on the My Team page. It’s honestly kind of hard to get to 1,400 IP these days.

Yeah it’s had me on pace to blow past the limit lol. Then I realized I have almost exclusively starters on my team, so lesson learned for next year.

Don’t sweat it yet. You may have had a bunch of guys who throw on Opening Day.

I would just do a little quick math and see how many innings they project for. I’m usually streaming starters and have a full bench of pitchers to get to 1,400.

What happens if I schedule my draft for after the Seoul Series is played?
That's perfectly OK. Any head to head points or categories league which completes its draft prior to the first pitch of the final game of the first scoring period (Sunday Night Baseball, which starts at 7 p.m. on March 31) will have all stats retroactively applied to their starting lineups for fantasy baseball's Week 1. For all rotisserie leagues, points will not be retroactively added and scoring will begin the first day with MLB games after the draft has completed.

My bats are ice cold. Lindor and Nimmo have been awful to start the season.

I’ve seen this for years and never knew what it meant. I’m sure there’s a story behind the name of your league, does anybody care to explain?

I am sure some one will elaborate but when Votto first came into the league he had catcher eligibility. Or at least he caught some in the minors.
