I have the 6th pick in a 12 team redraft league. The offensive starting line up is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex (RB/WR), 1TE. Scoring notes, 1 PPR and 6 Pts. for rushing/receiving TD's, and 4 Pts. For passing TD's.

My question is for the first two rounds. I am torn between 3 draft scenarios. Brees/Rodgers/Brady & Gronk/Graham, matthews (or top RB) & Lynch, or Megatron & Gronk/Graham.

My gut says to go QB & TE, bc I do not like the 2nd tear RB's and I think WR's are deep this year.

Sorry if this has been posted, I did a search and found nothing.

Graham and Gronk shouldn't be available in the late second round, but you should be able to get a top QB at the 6th pick.

In a 6 point for passing TD league I think Brady/Brees/Rodgers is the way to go for your 1st pick. It also helps that it is a 12 team league. I have done a ton of mock drafts, and only 1 time have I ever had Gronk or Graham fall to me at the 20th pick. So I would say it isn't likely they would be avaiable when your 2nd pick comes, but I would jump on one of them if they were available. If not, I would look to go RB, Richardson, Peterson and Murray are almost always available around pick 20. DMC sometimes slips around there also. WR is really deep and you can still get quality guys as late as the 6th/7th rounds.

I like an elite QB with an elite TE. Having the sixth pick, it's likely Brees or Brady end up falling to you. They score the most points of anybody and are the most consistant. It's a good foundation to build a team off of.

2nd round, I'd get Gronk or Graham if availible. If not, it's BPA. Just remember to grab a good TE later on.

There are other school's of thought out there. Read up and do some mocks. See what works best for you.

Do TE's just count as another WR? If so, why are you differentiating them for draft purposes?

Brady to Gronk or Brees to Graham combo would be sick.

My apologies we also have 1 TE position. Also, QB passing TD's are worth 4pts. Great advise so far though.
