Would you vote for Trump as an independent if Cruz was the nominee?

There's a whole lot of variables missing from your question.

No. I would only vote for a candidate that has a chance of winning.

Just not into wasting my vote on an independent. They aren't in position to challenge anyone.

Might not be popular but I don't want clinton

Trump surprised me with his words. Proved to me that he does in fact care

I don't like Ted much

The 3rd party experiment will never work because both Republicans and Democrats both know that a 3rd party vote is for the other candidate. If they would let 3rd party candidates participate in debates, it would maybe be possible, but to answer your question, no, I would vote Cruz, but not be to happy about it.

It depends. I prefer Trump to Cruz but if Trump had no chance to win because he lacked the support of a major party I'd suck it up and vote for Cruz. Because I'm a team player who doesn't want to directly or indirectly elect Hillary, unlike the NeverTrumpers.
