I would say we see the bills to repeal being drafted during the first session of the new congress.

i just hope they have a plan for something to put in it's place.

I did like how people couldn't be turned down due to a pre-existing condition. Everything else about it sucked.

Quickly.

I'm interested to see how the pre-existing conditions aspect will go. I'd assume you're grandfathered in at first, but some people are going to be stuck in their plans once that protection is dropped.

Also interested to see how the "children" under 26 get worked into the system.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see premiums across the board skyrocket early on because the risk pool is going to get unhealthier on the whole once the penalties are revoked.

I dont think they will repeal until they have something else ready to go. May take a year or so to plan pass and implement.

I hope we keep some things in place. I suffer from pre-existing conditions and my mother was able to get insurance for the first time in her life during the Obama administration.

Repeal away, but please advocate for something that doesn't put people like us in jeopardy. We (my mom and I) were screwed beforeOC.

this was the only part of it I supported. We have to find a way to for our citizens to get medical treatment. I think a network of charity hospitals similar to the Shriners or St. Jude that accept all walks of life is the answer.
