I've pretty much disowned my sister and its mutual I believe

She married a far left wing muslim a couple years ago not long after meeting him. He has turned her completely far left wing.
We are typical working class redneck white folks. We have "locker room talk". We tease and talk shite to each other. Just friendly rubbing and laughing. We can't be around the muslim 30 minutes without offending him or him starting in about something we said joking and making it political. Constant butt hurt. Strong division on Gun policy yada..yada..yada... She is looking for a job in other states again.
We dont talk. I just unfriended her. She is out protesting tonight.
Our mother is dying of stage 4 lung cancer on top of this. While her baby girl is drifting away.

Wait so the Muslim guy is "left wing"? Is he not practicing? Has she converted? How is liberalism at all compatible with Islam? I get that Western liberals love Islam for some reason but I didn't think it was reciprocated by practicing Muslims - curious how Islam is even compatible with liberalism from their perspective.

It sounds like they are completely self centered people. That is too bad. Some people are not salvageable. I hope your sister is, more for your Mom's sake than anything. Leaving when your Mom is in that type of battle is some kind of cold.

I have no idea. He is an American Muslim. Looks like a white guy, but is half some other shite. I've not been around him enough to know. He is the guy that moves into your house and tries to tell you how to live and he hates guns. He started out in Arkansas at my moms house, from Dallas where they met. He didnt make it long enough for anyone to know him. There is 30 plus guns in two houses. Mom and Redneck sister/bro in law.
